Guide to the Gallo Builder’s Process
The first step in the Gallo Builder’s process is for you, the new homeowner, to visit a mortgage company where you can speak with a professional, and get pre-qualified for a loan. This will let you know how much you can afford to spend on your new home. - Gallo Builder’s will take a $1,000.00 deposit made out to whichever housing development you are interested in (i.e. Arboretum Estates, Inc., or Laurel Ridge Estates, Inc. etc.) in order to hold your house lot. The check will not be deposited until our office has sent out the Purchase and Sale Agreement to your attorney. Once you have made a deposit for a lot, no one else can put a deposit on the same lot.
- A Gallo Builder’s sales representative will meet with you to determine exactly what features, styles, appliances, products etc. you would like to include in your new home so the final price can be determined for the Purchase and Sale Agreement. The Gallo Builder’s representative will need to receive a copy of your pre-qualified loan information from the mortgage company and your attorney’s information including his or her name, address, number, fax, email, and law firm information.
- Note: It is important to have an understanding of everything you would like to include in your new home when you meet with your sales representative. After the Purchase and Sale Agreement is signed, additional charges are applied for any extras or changes made.
After you meet with a sales representative our office will write-up the Purchase and Sale Agreement (P&S) and send it to your attorney. Your attorney should contact you within one or two weeks to review and sign the agreement. When you sign the agreement a 5% deposit balance (earnest money) will be due to whichever development your new house is located in (i.e. Arboretum Estates, Inc, Laurel Ridge Estates, Inc., etc.). After signing the agreement, your attorney will mail the P&S to our office. We will sign the agreement and mail two signed copies back to your attorney. Be sure to obtain an original copy from your attorney for your records. You will need to make a copy of your original agreement to send to your mortgage company/bank. - Your Gallo Builder’s representative will meet with you to pick out colors for your new home and to fill out the Project Data Sheet. You and your representative will sign the Data Sheet; Gallo Builders will keep the original and send you a copy for your records.
- Once the Purchase and Sale Agreement and Project Data Sheet are signed the building process will begin.

Your new Gallo Builder’s home will take approximately 6 months to build.
